Great Wrench - Poor Case
The wrench itself is very nice - works very well. It requires batteries which are not included, and no notice that I could find that they were required - so I was home and trying to use it when I discovered I needed 3 LR44 (387) batteries. And the case it comes in is completely worthless except as a display. You can not easily remove the wrench from the case. For the price, Sears should spend an extra $0.05 and provide a blow molded clamshell case.

Received the torque wrench just 2 days after I order it. GREAT.
Packaging was very robust. Wrench packed very well.
Opened the case, read the instructions (YES I DID!), pushed the "ON" button and.......nothing! Opened the battery case and NO BATTERIES (3 each LR44 button cells). Searched the box the packing, EVERYWHERE, no batteries. Called Sears Customer Service, spoke with nice lady named "Fanty". She apologized and said they will ship the batteries by UPS. Guess they didn't test the wrench before shipping, huh? How was it calibrated with no batteries?

neat wrench with digital reading
its a lot better than click torque (more ft/lbs)...even on par with heavily favored brands- snapon, and armstrong. Craftsman is cheaper but still worth having it to my collection in toolbox chest.

A Quality Precision Instrument, well worth the money.
A beautiful Craftsman Torque Wrench. Easy to use, precise torquing. I love it and highly recommend it. To adjust the torque setting you just pull on the base, and twist in either direction to increase or decrease torque. Very easy to use. Electronic dial can display inch pounds, newton meters, and other standards. A very nice Craftsman product.

Batteries are $5 extra
Good sales price, but not great. Not including the batteries actually means you need to add $5 - $6 to your actual outlay. Not including the batteries (expensive watch types) makes the overall user experience feel yucky - like you'd been scammed. The batteries not included is in there - but in very fine print...
