    Craftsman Dog Bone SAE Wrench is very useful. January 15, 2011

    My dad had a dog bone wrench (maybe not Craftsman) 50 years ago and it was one of his primary tools. This wrench has 8 different size sockets and the handle swivels to any position. It can be used where a deep-well socket is required because the bolt can go up through the socket. The magnet on the handle is OK but mine has already come unglued. We gave a Dog Bone Wrench to each of our sons this Christmas and kept one for myself.

    Interesting concept, poor quality... made in CHINA. August 17, 2010

    I ordered these after reading the warnings online about poor build quality. Turns out the warnings were correct and I had to return it for another because the wrench had trouble locking into position. I looked @ all the ones on display and most of them had the same characteristic due to shoddy build quality. Do note that these tools are made in China, which is a big disapointment b/c I have traditionally gone out of my way to by tools made in the USA (that's why I used to think highly of brands such as Craftsman). I haven't used these yet, but just a word of caution to those looking to purchase, try out both sides of the wrench and make sure it locks into place before purchasing.

    As a woman I was thrilled when I saw this tool. I don't want a chest full of tools laying around, pieces getting lost etc etc. it works " ok " but not great. When readjusting for the next turn you easily lose the right spot and then have to play hide-and-go-seek again

    These dog bone wrenches are a complete waste of money. It is a novel idea to be able to have any size socket you may need on one tool but they are way too big. As a mechanic there is almost no area that these are really useful. There is no way they fit into most of the tight areas I have to work in. If you are going to be working on things with a lot of area they will be useful
