Evolv 3 Gallon Pancake Air Compressor does an awesome job. April 03, 2011
This is a great air compressor for the smaller jobs around the house and garage. With the many accessories provided it handles many jobs. The price is great also and will not break the bank.
One of the best things is the portability of this air compressor. It weighs just enough to know you have a quality tool and yet light enough to transport around the house and garage to handle the jobs. It is priced right for the value.

OK for Price March 02, 2011
Decent price for what you get. Only used it a few times to air up bike tires and inflatables and the hose is already split under the brass connector. Went to Sears to file warranty claim and they advised it is considered an accessory and not covered under warranty. So now, I have to buy a replacement hose for $20 while I only paid around $55 for the entire unit.

Evolv Compressor is Extremely Slow to fill February 08, 2012

Extremely slow to fill...,Exceptionally loud,MADE IN CHINA.I purchased this air compressor/Nailer a couple weeks ago for some light projects around the house. I do not need anything huge, or anything great for that matter. My main uses are minor projects, crown molding, filling tires, etc. I saw the price of this modeland thought I would give it a shot since it came with a naier and was cheaper than the others. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. This compressor tank is small, but the underpowered motor takes over 6 minutes to fill up the tank. It also leaks air. I filled it up and let it sit for a few minutes before I used it and after about 10 minutes of sitting there, the pump came back on because the tank PSI had dropped below 80PSI already. No hose was attached at the time, so there should have been no leaking, or very little. This compressor also comes witha blow gun, but is not powerful enough to use it for any length of time. After about 30 seconds, you have to wait another 5-6 minutes to build up pressure enough to use it again. All in all, a poor product. I returned it for the 1 HP 3 gallon compressor today. Hopefully the Craftsman one will be better....

Extremely slow to fill...,Exceptionally loudThe female quick connector is not installed with the compressor. You need to get a male coupling (not included). First remove the original connector (don't know what is it for), next install the male coupling, then install the female quick connector. The manual doesn't say that. It takes about 2 minutes to fill up the tank. The air drop quickly if using the blow gun. For the tire chuck and nailer are acceptable. It is very loud and slow to refill. Hey, 1/3 HP and for this price. Hopes it will last for 7 years or more for light use around the house.

cheap hose included, must upgradeI got this for Christmas and just started using it 2 weeks ago to reupholster some furniture. The hose split already so it's pretty much useless right now.
The pros are it's small so it doesn't take up much room in the house. It's not unbearably noisy.
The con is the hose didn't last very long.
