Better than other $99 units
I recommend this compressor, but there are a couple things you should know. I bought it for finish nailing and it works perfectly well. I like how compact it is with the 4 gallon tank. While it cycles on more frequently than say a 6 gallon unit when running the nailer, it's not like a 1 or 2 gallon unit that has to run constantly.
Here's what you need to know: it's heavy (maybe that means it's well built), the pvc hose is a joke, and so is the accessory kit. Buy it, but you'll immediatly want to spend money on a genuine rubber hose and you'll probably need more connectors - it doesn't even come with enough parts to quick connect the blow gun for example. Making an honest apple-to-apples comparison, however, most, if not all, other low priced compressors come with pvc hose too so this cost will get you no matter what.
I don't regret buying it at all, and the service at my local store was great.

Poor Quality Control
Took it out of the box and it would only pump up to 50 Psi and not enough volume to operate the blower nozzle. The air hose also leaked at the crimped-on fitting. Returned it for a refund. If the quality control is that bad, I didn't want to take another lemon home, and end up with another round trip.

Compressor did the job.
I bought this compressor to roof my garage. I didn't want a big compressor, but one big enough to do the job. We were only running one nailer and it kept up without any problems. I did a break-in procedure on it at the urging of the salesperson and it seems to have paid off. It runs wonderfully and holds air without any leaking whatsoever. I would certainly recommend this compressor for small jobs and for use around the garage.

the compressor works great but the accessories are poor quality and do not come with enough male connectors. I was able to find plenty of different connectors at hardware store though. Overall the compressor it self seems well made so far but it is made in china which turns me off.
I would recommend this product to a friend.

Craftsman Pancake Air Compressor
This little guy is a pretty good air compressor. It isn't that loud and it still packs a good punch. Yet this little air compressor is small enough that it can be taken inside a house and used right where you need it. I've taken it inside a closet plugged it in used a coil hose and brad nail gun to do the trim. and didn't even need hearing protection
