Made in China
I bought a shallow depth Metric set of these a couple of years ago that are stamped "made in USA". Thinking I was buying US made, I purchased both this deep set and standard deep set only to find that they are now MADE IN CHINA. I returned them at once without even leaving the store. My love affair with Craftsman is over.

Good quality, they do rust easy.
I think I got the last set in my store made in USA. New Chinese ones have a nicer case but I doubt the same steel. Keep them oiled or they will rust like crazy.

Great Impact Socket Set
I own the SAE impact socket set and used it to work on older cars; they perform great and are a must when working on 45 year old rusted nuts and bolts. I added the metric set to work on newer vehicles. I purchased the sets at half price sales and they are a GREAT value!

Looked used.
They looked like they were used. They had scuffs and scratches all over them. One of the latches to the case they came in was broke. Im sure they will work fine but if I wanted used looking tools I would have found used ones.

Very tough impact sockets, also the thickest I've seen within my shop, bought on sale to have extra set. Not for all jobs needing small walls to enter into. Does the job as cheap back up set.

Craftsman impact socket set
Made in China stuff with the Craftsman name on it. I do not care that it still has a warranty, it is a disgrace that apparently more and more craftsman labeled tools are beign made Oversea's. Furthermore, for being made oversea's, It is still priced to the consumer as if it was top notch American made!
