Nice saw with good power January 27, 2008
Bought this saw about two years ago and used it extensivley to finish my basement and remodel mother in laws house. Cut wood, nails, screws, plastic pipe, drywall etc. I did buy a demolition blade and still use it today. I recommend this saw but the blade did pop out a few times during rigerous use.

I am a die hard Craftsman fan and that is why this saw is so disappointing. The tool-less blade change system is a joke. The saw would not hold the blade for more than 10 seconds of cutting (no exaggeration). Sears was nice enough to refund my purchase since the saw was only used for a total of 2-3 minutes, but this tool-less blade change system is a joke. I am going to have to buy a Kobalt saw now since I am a Jimmie Johnson fan.

Did the job - what else is to be said!
I choose 10 amp because I needed some guts without over doing it.
It cut things to big for a jig saw.
Mainly use it for destruction rather than construction.
I like easy access to more blades. It works.
