Nothing YetThis saw is an awsome saw. It is easy to operate, the battery lasts a super long time, the saw is light weight, well balanced and can fit into places where ost saws could not. I found no materials that I couldn't cut through with this saw, and what the best part about this saw is that this saw does not give a lot of vibration when sawing through really hard materials.

Nothing Yet95% of my tools are Craftsman. I had the old style saw for only 9 months and didn't like it at all. It finally tied up and I tore it apart to find the cam bearing in little pieces, I don't think it was right in the beginning as I didn't use it that much and it run very rough. Took it back to the store and they would do nothing for me. Since I have had such good luck with my other Craftsman tools I purchased the new model. It runs smooth, has much more power and the batteries last twice as long as the old model.... again I think the old model I had was defective from the get go. Seems everything is made in China or someplace over seas now so the quality will continue to drop off. I'll continue to use Craftsman. I do like the new model much better smooth, powerful and light.

C3 Reciprocating Saw - Cordless and Powerful July 05, 2011

Pros:
Not Too HeavyUnderstand this will not replace or compete with a high amperage plug in electric model. For what it is, it's excellent. Relatively lightweight and cordless makes this an excellent addition to anybody's C3 system. Yes, there are other cordless units out there that are better with larger and more powerful batteries but for someone who already has a number of C3 items, this is an inexpensive and viable option. I have yet to use this with the conventional C3 battery so I cannot comment use with that - I use the lithium units. The only downfall I see with this is, say, when in the middle of cutting out a wall board, you need to set it down while holding onto the demo piece up, there's no flat spot for the saw to sit down on, if that makes any sense. With the battery attached, it can't "sit" with the battery flat as it tips forward against the saw blade and falls over. Silly item but it could have been designed with a flat back to rest on. Else, it does get hot after some use but nothing extreme.

Pros:
Easy To OperateGreat tool. I've used it for trimming trees and cutting conduit. Very flexible and easy to use. It does a great job cutting and is easier than lugging around a full size reciprocating saw. Also being able to use it with one hand is great. Battery time is good but not great. Definitely a good tool to have on your shelf.
