Excellent vac
I purchased this wet/dry vac during a Sears craftsman club sale. Paid like $75 for it. I really don't use it for wet service. I use it to clean up my woodshop, catch cuttings from various saws, clean up the patio, etc.
I love it. It has plenty of suction, even sucking up small rocks, screws, etc.
One recommendation: When you buy it, get a second filter. Then when you have to empty the vac, install the new clean filter and then use the vac to suck clean the old filter. From this point forward, you just alternate filters using the vac to clean up the one that just came out of the machine. Makes cleanup a snap and eliminated the dust problem when you have to bang the dirty filter on something to get it clean.

Piece of garbage
The hose kinks at connection point. NO BAG AVAILABLE HOW VAPID IS THAT. I am still miffed no bag it has to be the only shop vac that has no bag avaiable for it. Just the lousy filter that comes with it. Would NEVER buy this again.

Wet-Dry VAC in Review
Positives: Has a long cord so no extension cords are generally needed. Runs well; not subject to overturning. Negatives: There were only two nozzle attachments that came with the Vac; if other attachments are needed they can be ordered; seemed kind of chintzy. In hindsight, the unit is way to big for a home/garage application.

i have a sweet gum tree and got tired of raking up the pointed balls. i thought i give this vac. a try because of the two and a half hose and 16 gal. container. boy am i glad i did. works like a champ. easy to clean up with a hose. if you have a sweet gum tree do yourself a favor and give one of these a try. thanks sears....

Great machine !!
Works great and sucks like a street corner date. For once , the wheel stance is wide enough to be very stable and rolls over everything with ease. Twice the vac that it replaced and it was a Sears Vac also....although it was 25 years old.
