My husband is truly very hard on his tools, but he didn't find this a long lasting one. The motor burned up after a year, just outside of any warantees.

This 20 gallon Craftsman Wet/Dry Vacuum is a MUST for any workshop, hobby shop, job site, or garage. This vacuum gets the job done, and it gets the job done right. If you are in the market for a great vacuum, then I highly recommend this fine product from the good folks over at Craftsman.

1. I look for consistency in specifications to make a buy. This unit has the handle and wheels (bigger wheels would be better on a job site). 2. Filter spec should be listed. 3. HP should be listed. 4. Most importantly, Sears should move to snap lock on all fittings. The current fittings either lock-up solid or fall apart while working.

Motor Died in a Month November 29, 2007

The motor on this vacuum died in just less than a month. I took it back and the repair shop in the Sears store told me that it wasn't under warranty any more. I was really disappointed.
