Mighty Little Saw! March 10, 2011
I picked this up to aid in helping with making 90 degree cuts for my workbench I am building. I do wish sometimes that I went with a 12" saw, but for the money, this can't be beat! It has never bogged down at all while cutting. The only drawback I find so far is that the bag for dust collection does not work very well and there is a lot of cleanup afterwards. No biggie if you are in a woodshop though! The laser line feature is great, however I wish it worked off of the electricity, and not AA batteries. This is my first miter saw, and so far I've been extremely pleased with it.

Cheaply made. Waste of money. March 19, 2010
My husband purchased this saw from Sears and used it a handful of times and just like the previous customers, the handle broke. It is held on by plastic! Who in their right mind would make a saw with a flimsy plastic handle. You would think they would remedy the problem after all the complaints. Now I have to go and purchase a new saw to finish the project that we started. Come on Sears, stand behind your made in china product and be good to your faithful customers.

saw dust bag doesn't work wellReally good saw for the price. Seems to work great for me. When you get it out of the box be sure to square the saw up, mine was a little off. Lots of plastic to be careful of but, it seems most all saws are that way in this price range. After looking at all the other options this was the best decision.

Laser uses batteries,Plastic guide on base is cheapAssenbky if this tool was certainly easy. Required very little and it all amounted to installing support braces. The main complaint that I have with mine is that a lot of the screws were siezed into their spots and i actually had to drill out and re-tap the hole. All together it has a good cut and easily opperated.
