Value is just amassing on this set. Did couple small project and performance of all tools is great. So far very happy. My expectation is that durability of the tools and battery will be great.

Hitachi 18V 3.0Ah HXP Cordless Tool 4-pc. Set --AWESOME!
After running the gamut of cordless tool usages for 30 years, I've Finally Arrived! Let's see, from drills of 3.6, 7.2, 12, 14.4, 15.6, 18 and 19.2 Volts, only the Craftsman 19.2 C3 system had meet my total needs (past 8 years)! Yep, still have "5" cordless tools in that line, but wanted to step-up my shop cordless tools by outfitting with the new Lithium-Ion Battery technology. Consistent Power, Long Shelf Life, Quick Charging, High Current Output and Low Weight really makes the Lith-Ions desirable, for Pros or the homeowner, so decided to take the plunge. Craftsman Lith-Ion appeared the way to go, but after researching all of the newest cordless Lith-Ion products on the market, found the HITACHI 18V 3.0 Ah HXP to be unbeatable in all the categories, equaling the Craftsman in price and substantially less then most of the other professional brands of great cordless tools. Plus, Hitachi now offers a LIFETIME Cordless Tool Warranty...Can't beat that!! I've not been disappointed! You can read about specs and the reviews, but I can safely say that this Cordless Hitachi set is Absolutely Solid in use! The 1\2" Drill-Driver has leading class torque (570in\lbs) and is the top rated 18V Lith-Ion in many on-line reviews, seeming to equal my pro corded drills in raw power. The 6.5" Circ Saw is very solid and light weigh and melts threw 2X and plywood without bogging down. The Recip Saw also has a solid heft with a quick tooless blade changer, delivering all the power I need for quick cutting task. The 3.0Ah Lith-Ion batteries give all 3 power tools plenty of run time, allowing me to tackle all of my DIY projects. The lantern is okay, giving just enough output for general lighting needs, but certainly not up to par with the power tools. I have the additional 1330in\lbs Impact driver and 4.5" grinder due to a 6pc kit purchase, but believe this 4pc set alo offers a great $$$ Value! Overall, these are the most powerful, well built, quiet and ergonomic cordless tools I have ever come across! All feel great and work as well in my hands as any of the top corded power tools I own. The Hitachi 18V 3Ah HXP tool system is Very Close to the Power and Torque of my corded tools (all professional), but with a Lot More in the way of Convenience!! Anybody want to buy some Good Corded Tools?
I would recommend this product to a friend.
