Durable and Versitile
I bought the Robo-Grip pliers long ago when they first came out on the infomercial with Bob Villa. I still have them. A bit of rust on the teeth now but still works great and i use them for everyhing. Great product I'm so pleased I got them.

I just bought an old set of these. three pairs in the original box and each pair of pliers says "USA" or MADE IN USA at least 3x..... bring production back to USA please. i bought them off c-list

Good, but not great...
After years of watching the commercials with Bob Villa presonally recommending these I had to get a pair. They're easy to use and quality of construction is very good. It's clear some design work went into creating these. What I find discouraging is a few times these should have been the perfect tool for the job, they were unable to grip (certainly not robo-like) the object I was working on.They will easily adjust to the correct size but lock rather than allowing your hand to squeeze any additional torque into its grip. I have a set of the CH Hanson "Automatic" pliers that I also purchased at Sears and personally I prefer them to my Robo Grips. But I'm glad I have the choice. Get them if they're on sale.

These are great small pliers.
I own 2 pair of the 7" and 2 of the bigger robogrips. I love the fact that you can have 1 robogrip to replace a whole toolbox of wrenches and pliers.

Not sure why the prev reviewer stated she makes these in PA/USA...my set clearly shows made in China. Maybe they changed where they make them but every pair I looked at at Sears were all made in China. Be that as it may...they are still well made and a nice set of pliers.

Robogrips Rock!
I have to say I am not a woman with much knowledge about tools. However, after spending 2 years making these things I finally tried them and I loved them!! They really latched on to whatever you are tightening and the handles are made of such a material that your hands do not slide off of them nor do they hurt your hand. I've used other brands and these were top notch!!! A+++++++++++ Also, I know how they are made because I made them and trust me they are manufactured with the utmost care and craftsmanship. Sorry if my tool lingo is off. :-)
