Craftsman  12.0 Volt Lithium-Ion Drill and Impact Combo Kit

Light weight, powerful, and easy to use.

This set replaced an old 18V cordless drill. Both tools are lightweight and powerful and I had no problem driving in long 2 1/2" wood screws into 2x4s with it. I get many uses out of the battery, which charges very quickly. The only thing I wish this set had was an extra battery.

These are great for the price. You cannot beat them. I had been using a set of my buddies that were of a different more expensive name brand and these keep up stride for stride with those. Glad I saved some money and bought from Craftsman.

Priced right and workes with other tools

Purchased this combo and I use it all the time. Its great around the house work. Impract Drivers does great job, but Drill is a little under power for some jobs around the house. Initially was thinking of purchasing a 18V, but after 2 months of contant using the 12V combp, I dont think I will be buying a 18V system. The battery life for Drill is great, considering its a 12V system.

I love these.. however now I'm wondering how well the new bolt on series of tools performs.

I'm really pleased with the quality of these tools so far. They are light, compact and have the power to tackle most household and woodworking jobs. First thing I did was buy a second battery. That way I could keep working while the first battery charged. So far, I've never needed it. The batteries hold a charge a really long time, even in storage. When you consider that the cost of a big name set like this can cost more then twice as much, you can't get much better then this set.

I bought the Craftsman 12 volt Lithium Ion Battery Drill and Impact Combo Kit for my wife. I have several of the Nextec tools, so I was aware of how well they work. My problem was all of ym tools are in my shop and I use them pretty regualrly, but my wife does a lot of work on things in the house and always needed to borrow my shop tools. Normally not a problem, but there were times when we were both needing them at the same time or on bad weather days she woudl decide to work on something in the house and we would have to walk out in the bad weather to the shop (which is not very close). So I purchased this combo kit for the house. Currently we are remodeling a room in our house and have used this combo kit extensively. The impact driver has been perfect driving in 3" wall anchors into the wall studs and hasn't hesitated a single time. The impact driver drives them right in everytime. The drill/driver has been used to do all of our pre-drilling when needed and also sued to install a new ceiling fan and a few light fixtures and to mount some shelving. My wife likes to do alot of re-arranging in the house and she is always using the drill/driver to install stuff around the house. She really likes how long the battery last while she is working and the fact that the battery will hold a charge for a long time when not being used as well. This is a great combo to put these two tools together and they really compliment each other on regular houshold or shop projects. The kit comes with a single charger and a single battery, so I purchased a spare battery, so thst she has a battery for each tool. She has even told her friend about this kit that I bought for her and her friend went and purchased one for her home. I strongly recommend this combo kit for your general needs around the house. They work alot harder for their size than one would think.
