Craftsman  NEXTEC 12.0 Volt Right Angle Impact Driver

i had 2 in the last 3 months n they both would'nt stop running and both burned up very disappointed

GREAT TOOL, PERFECT FOR MY APPLICATION. WHEN I ORDERED THIS, NO MENTION OF THE BATTERY , WHICH DID NOT COME WITH THE TOOL. WENT TO THE STORE AND PURCHASED A BATTERY, NO MENTION OF A CHARGER! PUT IT ALL TOGETHER AS A SET, IT WOULD MAKE BETTER SENSE.

I added this tool to my nextec collectiion because I needed a tool that could bring power into cramped spaces. I really does work like a charm.

I already had the battery from my sears oscillating tool. I wanted this for tight areas that I need to install screws. The ability to control the speeds from slow to fast is easy. I just got this and I can tell that it is a good addition to my tools. This can be an everyday power screw driver.

I just received my Nextec angle impact driver and I was pleasantly surprised. It's a very solid, well built tool, just as I have come to expect from a Craftsman. It came with a lithium battery and a charger, when so many others come now as a "bare tool", meaning no battery and charger. I was really pleased when I noticed that the tool came with a nice carrying case. It's got plenty of power for the Kreg screws I had to drive into oak. The compact size is so helpful when doing cabinet work. A terrific value!!!!

I must say, I'm very impressed with the power output of this driver, considering the tight spaces that it fits into, makes it a must for my profession. 

pros; lightweight, powerful, sleek looks, comes with fast charger and nice case, and easy to use

cons: minor but wish the light would stay on 15-30 seconds after motor is disengaged. longer battery life would also be nice.

not only this but i own several power tools from the nextec line and I'm very happy with them all. 

I bought this as part of a set that the terrible search engine on this site can't find. From the first screw I drove home with this machine, I was impressed! I was expecting fairly wimpy performance from a mere 12V tool, but I was completely surprised to find that it has no trouble driving and seating completely a 3" screw in just seconds! The battery seems to last forever, and when it does finally die, it does so with full power applied until the last drop of energy is used up. One hour on the charger has it back in service again, ready to tackle any job. I've rarely been so pleased by a purchase, and I highly recommend it.

The Craftsman NEXTEC Impact Driver is beyond AWESOME; especially after Craftsman released the ¼? & ½? socket adapters. I have been able to use it in building a set of steps and a small deck with a single battery charge using two and half inch decking screws. I was able to counter sink the heads without problem for over one hundred fifty screws. I have also used it while working on my lawn tractor deck and motor mounts but it is not strong enough to break free the blades. Still the breaking power in this single battery operated tool is just fantastic. I would strongly recommend it to friend or foe as a fantastic purchase for the price. It also make an excellent gift for the man who has it all!

It does what I want it to, in the areas I need it to. Too bad there is not a smooth action key-less collet adaptor to tighten and hold "OTHER THAN STD" drill bit diameters making this tool even more useful.
