great product, great price
just picked up from sears today, got it home for inspection, and to my suprise. it is every thing I expected from sears craftsman. prefect condition not a scratch, very sturdy, all around great product. thanks sears for your years quality and services.

J U N K ! ! !
I ordered this as it was on sale for nearly 1/2 price and was advertised as having ball bearing glides for the drawers. After I got it home I realized the bottom drawer was not coming to a stop on the right side. I removed the bottom drawer and found a plastic strip, with 3 holes for ball bearings but only 2 BB's in place, laying on the bottom of the chest! I spent well over an hour (foolish me!) trying to get this BB strip back in place (the individual glides are supposed to ride on these BB strips top & bottom). After reinstalling these strips (supposedly) I attempted to reinsert the individual drawers (had to remove the top drawer to provide access for my hands) only to have each side of the top drawer track pop out of the cabinet glides. Then the left top cabinet glide poped out completely dropping those 2 plastic strips! Sear's opens at 10:00am; I'll be there at 10:01 am to return this piece of junk for a refund, not a replacement, REFUND! P.S. Cabinet material is THIN!

Not Bad for the Money
This box is not very heavy duty. I bought it to store tools that I don't use a lot. The metal is kinda thin and the slides are not very heavy duty comparing to another Craftsman box I have. It is MUCH better than the one I went to ************** to buy and walked out when I saw how junky it was made. This is not a box for someone who will use it continually but I think it is fine for a homeowner who needs tool storage.

Alittle disappointed
Wasn't sure if I wanted to the middle chest but after loading up my cart with my craft supplies :) I needed the extra drawers. Was happy with the top and bottom chests but this one seems "cheaper". I was expecting a lip to sit my top chest in but that was my own fault because I didn't believe the pic. I would have liked the lip with the 2 bigger drawers but it doesn't even look like that's available in black. Didn't receive the bolts that were "included" so hub got me a couple from his tool box. There are only spots for them in the back so there is a gap in the front and it "bounces" when I use the top chest. I guess I'm going to have to get creative. When I tried to replace the drawers after bolting it seems like the top one of this unit was a touch too short width wise so I had to flip flop drawers. All in all it works for my crafts...

Fits the bill
I wanted a middle draw for the tool chest and this 2 drawer center piece is just what I was looking for. I inspected the exterior of the box for damage did not find any until I got home. The box was damaged on the back but a few wacks with a rubber mallet straightend most of it out. The extra two draws help unclutter the rest of the cabinet. The metal sides are thin but the chest does the job I want it to do.

Light duty box
Good box for lighter duty. I have a big box, and bought this box and the matching top bow for my electrical tools and for overflow of specialty tools. I wouldn't put my sockets sets in it, but its a good sturdy box for lighter duty.

Overall nice unit. Not the Top quality you would or had in past expected from Craftsman. Could be less flexible and better drawer bearings for slides used. But for the price it will do its job. Just not sure how long though
