It requires no shielding gas with flux core wires and and welds mild steel materials with .030" or .035" flux core wires. It can weld mild steel with .023", .030"and .035" wires, stainless steel with .030" and .035" wires and aluminum with .030" and .035" wires, with appropriate shielding gases. Features 6 voltage ranges, set up chart, cooling fan, trigger activated arc, overload protection, 6 ft MIG gun with Tweco style series 11 replacement parts and 6ft ground cable and clamp. 35V no load voltage, 30-190 amps output, 15% duty cycle @ 145A, overall dimensions=21" X 9.3" X 14.3" and weights about 61 lbs.
