Too many little problems
I bought this saw and tried it for a week. I consistently had problems with the screw that controls the depth of the cut, and I figured out that the miter angle gauge was off by .5 degree. So all the stops are useless. The blade I will say was very nice. I got smooth cuts without any chips. You can tell it is a budget saw, and it will catch your eye for being a 10" compound slider for around $150. Though be aware the design is below average.
I could have gotten away with this if I rigged the depth screw somehow and constantly made test cuts on my angles. For a lot of years when the budget was tight I did stuff like that. But I'm tired of that, and I want my miters precise for that professional look. I returned it and spent a little more to get a smaller craftsman slider.
I wish WEN could have figured out some of these little problems when they manufactured the saw. This could have been a really nice product.

Quality of product
Cheaply made. Extremely difficult to move fom one cut to another. I took this item home and immediately returned it to the store and purchased the Craftman 10" sliding miter saw, which iI consider to be far better quality and easier to work with.

Too many little problems

the slides dont work they twist so they dont slide right the bearings are lose so cut is rough the dust collector is no good the dust dont even collect there they come from a whole different spot the angle degrees are off and the setting dont stay in the right spot i could go on i will be filing a report about this product!!
