Craftsman  49 pc. 3/8-in. Drive Socket Module

I purchased this set along with the 1/2" and the 1/4" set. This was the only set that was made in the USA. The other two are made in CHINA, however - it makes sense since the 3/8 is the most commonly used set. I found somewhere that this ratchet has about 60 teeth, and is a huge step up from the standard ~38 teeth Craftsman ratchet. This was also the smoothest one out of the set (vs 1/2" or 1/4" ratchet). I think I found somewhere that this ratchet. I would give this a 5 star, however one of the deep socket was stamped upside down - not sure how this got through quality control.

Great Set Horrible Price I picked up this set for the shop, everyone really loved them. Great smooth and great feeling ratchet, and great sockets. I was going to purchase 3 more, until they doubled the price. Looks like I'm going to another brand now, because I can't afford to supply all our shops with these sets at the new price they raise it to. Absolutely crazy.

I bought this set with every intentions that I will not buy another 3/8 socket set. I already have the 154 piece mechanic set for on the go so this set will stay in the garage when I need it. This is still made in the USA as most sets are. Still not same great quality as some my old Craftsman sockets but still a lot better than the H***r F****t tools that are made in China.

If you want something to just drop into your tool chest get this. As far as the reviews about the plastic being cheap, it serves its purpose well of organizing all your sockest.  Bought this and the 1/4" and 1/2" drive sets.  Comes with stickers to label the sockets plastic tray.  100% satisfied 

I can't say enough good about this set. The chrome is good, all sockets were there and in their correct spot. The case leaves a little to be desired but I didn't purchase it for the case. If I could change/add anything I would add a u joint extension, have the socket sizes imprinted on the black part of the case, and use a hard plastic case. But, its still a top notch set thats made in the USA and guaranteed for life!! Thank you Sears and Craftsman!!

For those of you that do not already own a Thin Profile ratchet you do not know what you are missing.

Ratchet, Sockets, and Extensions Made in the U.S.A. Great set includes nearly every 6 pt. 3/8" drive socket that Craftsman makes. And while the plastic tray could be thicker, its more than adequate for storing in a tool chest. Watch the sales, I was able to pick this up for about $45.
