    Craftsman 154 pc. Mechanics Tool Set March 30, 2011

    This has almost all the tools I need for working on the car at home. No solid screwdrivers, but I had those already. There was also one socket size I needed that was not present, but I had an older smaller kit that had that size in it so everything worked out great. I also realize that this is not a full automotive kit and you would need a larger kit, but this has had almost all the tools I would need for working. I would definitely purchase this again. The price for this kit was excellent. I got it on sale for a great price. Did not like tools falling out if I wasn't paying attention and opened the wrong side, but that falls on me not watching.

    LOOK CLOSER March 14, 2009

    I bought my 154pc. set last month and while assembling I noticed overall finish inside the sockets look like they would be susceptible to rust right off the bat. I remember just 10 years ago Craftsman tools seemed to be of better quality and feel. These tools nowadays just dont have that smooth fit and feel like they used. I guess you got to spend more for something else. Oh yea, I also had 2 unmarked pieces.

    Little disappointed the set wasn't already setup in the case. Instead everything was bagged and had to be separated and that is when I found that the set came with two 8mm sockets and was missing the 5/16.

    I have bought several craftsman tools and tool sets. Simply put - they work and last. I never have a problem with them. After Hurricane Katrina flooded my home I had to throw away ALL my foreign made tools. They were pitted and ate up my the chemicals in the water. They were of no use what-so-ever. My Craftsman tools had a few small pits and some rust but they cleaned up almost new and I am STILL using them.

    After purchasing my tool set; there have been multiple reasons to use it around the house on the job. It isn't too big, but big enough to handle most projects.
