      255 pc Craftsman tool set is Awesome! May 10, 2011

      This set is loaded! All the sockets, ratchets, wrenches and screwdriver pieces I'll need for a long time. Plus you can't go wrong with the Guarantee you get from Craftsman. I like how the drawers slide completely out so you don't have to lug the whole box around. Just slide out the drawer you need and set it right beside you. I do wish that the sockets were more snug in the drawers. I dropped one of the drawers a very short distance and had sockets everywhere. Overall great set and I got a great deal at Sears. I just happened to be there and the tools were on sale for one day.

      Great Set, Great Price. LAME Box... March 03, 2011

      great craftsman tool set, guaranteed for life and made in USA is very important to me and should be to YOU as well. if for anything, to support the US economy... but what is the deal with the box they come in. the box itself is solid and will last many years but the poorly designed front lid (red) fasteners? / hinges dont stay in place. mine (the left hinge, mainly) likes to pop out of place on its own. making it an accidental tool spill waiting to happen. still, the price i paid for this set make it worth the hassle. like the other reviewer, i will buy some cheap straps to keep everything secure. probably a good idea anyway. also, like another reviewer posted. the bars securing the drawers are a bit hard to open. i am sure they will loosen somewhat with use. i just hope they dont loosen too much as that could be a problem as well. overall, very happy with the set!

      Really good array and number of socket sizes, but not the highest quality rachets. Rachets seem to be the cheapest craftsman type. Some socket sizes doubled up with the hex and star shape. I really like the Sears/Craftsman lifetime guarantee.

      The tools are great but THROW THE TOOLBOX AWAY! Do not use it! You have been warned. If you use the tool box, do not pick it up, do not move it. The first time you do, the drawers will fall out and ALL of your tools will be scattered and you will spend hours resorting them. Shame on Sears for including this garbage tool box with such good tools.
