I got this set while on sale at Sears and have been very satisfied with is thus far. It's got all the essentials that I need - metric and SI alike. Since we drive Hondas, the metric were particularly important to me, and I can use the SI tools around the house, so it's a great balance. The fact that Craftsman has lifetime warranties has always given me piece of mind as I have even gotten parts replaced that suffered great stresses (extensive torque, etc.). If you find yourself working on cars, you may want to also add some wrenches as the highest metric wrench is 18mm. I had to get a 22mm to replace my O2 sensor recently.

Purchase this item last Thursday July 2, 2010. I've bought craftman tools since i was 19, now I'm 59. Very please with the tools. Not so with the tool box. after Approx 45 minutes of putting tools in correct location, and was moving tool box to my tool room. The molded tool box came apart. Its like a snap together box. Had to glue box together to keep it together. Hope it doesn'T happen again.

I feel i got a good value in the tools, the toolbox is horrible. the only thing holding the drawers in is a plastic snap click on both sides. If you are carrying the toolbox and the clips pop open then the entire contents of your toolbox ends up on the ground. I have never seen a toolbox that the drawers dont have a stop. most you have to pick up on the drawers to remove them. not this box. the drawers slide right out on the ground. they need to redesign the toolbox drawers and implement a stop to where you have to pick up on the drawers or release a lever to get them all the way out. Terrible toolbox design.. Its not fun picking up 260 loose sockets and wrenches off the ground.

Really good tool set
3 ratchets, 6 and 12 point sockets, 12 point combination wrenches, allan wrenches & more. This is really a nice mechanics tool set. Made in the U.S.A. Only problem is with the case. It's a good idea, but the cheap plastice is not great. The top handle will easily tear off from carrying all the weight of the tools. Other than that, great purchase.

Better Ratchet
Overall great set, lots of sockets with 6 and 12 point metric and standard. Got the set for a great price in the store and the trays that came with the box fit perfectly in my rollaway drawers. The only thing I would change is the ratchets. Maybe I just got a bad one but the gear doesnt work very well, still waiting to try and take it back for an exchange. Will be loosening or tightening something then all of sudden the ratchet free spins with my hand no where near the selector.
I would recommend this product to a friend.

my family loves craftsman, always used this brand and always will. i got this for my boyfriend for his birthday, he doesnt own any craftsman but he has always wanted them. the fact that it also has a tool box is great! i loved the fact that i bought it on 3.11 and it was delivered to my house the very next day!

Like everyone else says.Great set of tools.But the box is not so great.I bought it to sit on a bench,so the box will do.One of the sockets was missing the size.I went back to Sears,and they gave me a replacement.Gotta love Craftsman for that alone
