Nice feel in hand,Multiple blade widths,Chisels are sharp,Craftsman warranteedI have owned many chisel sets over the years and now buy mostly for feel in hand and this Craftsman set feels good, is a complete set and has the Craftsman warranty. Win, win !
Most of my work ends up being trim and cabinet type projects and I have a heavy locksmith background so boring holes and installing deadbolts and handsets is mostly what I use chisels to do.
While most of the work I do calls for a 3/4 or 1 inch chisel, there are instances where smaller is called for and it is always satisfying to have all you need in one set. My reputation also brings me work from family, friends and church and some of this is craft or hobby repairs that do call for the smaller sized chisels.
These chisels are sharp and ready for work as you buy them. They are comfortable in your hand and keep an edge well.
Use your hammer only on chisels with a metal end cap to prevent damage to the handle and use a wood mallet or plastic tipped hammer for chisel handles without metal protection to prolong life to your set.
