I use this daily around salt water and it has been a few weeks without any signs of rust. Most tools get rusty very fast and I am happy to find a stainelss steel tape measure for a reasonable price. Time will tell how well it holds up.

Nice addition to the Komelon family
I have had great luck with my other 16' lime green Komelon tape measures and saw that Sears carried this longer, stainless steel version and opted to try it out. I've had it a couple of months now and all is well so far. It pulls out smooth and also retracts with ease and the extra length is nice to have.
I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great so Far
Had it a few weeks and it seems great. Tape is stainless and spring is supposed to be stainless. You're supposed to be able to wash it of...time will tell. Tape metal feels thicker than most, maybe because it's stainless. A little bigger and heaver than the Stanley LeverLock and retracts with a thumb button instead of a bottom plate. Seems robust and well made. I like it so far. Wish it was made in the usa...but made in korea.

I saw this tape on the shelf of my local Sears. Pulled the tape out about 3' and when I pushed the button it rolled up about a foot and stopped. It was stuck, wouldn't budge. Total garbage if you ask me since I wasn't even really using it, just messing around with them in the store. The other lime green Komelon 3 packs did not feel that great either. Get a quality tape like Stanley Powerlock or something.
