    Solid performer August 16, 2010

    Over the years, I've had several 4-in-1 screwdrivers and they did an adequate job. My main complaint was that the shank did not fit tightly into the handle and there was a little play/slippage in the shank when using the screwdriver. To be fair, these were cheap screwdrivers, usually $1-2.

    As I upgraded my cheap tools to Craftsman, I decided to replace my 4-in-1's. Although more expensive (about $7), the quality is definitely there. The shank fits solidly into the handle and there is no slippage when using it. I bought a second one to use in my office.

    My only complaint is that the bits will rust. On one job, I got some water in the handle and did not completely dry it out. Next time I used it, the bits stored in the handle were rusted. I used a little WD40 on the bits and wiped most of the rust off. Its not a big deal, just something to be careful about.

    This is a solid performer, well worth the money.

    3 Screwdrivers, 3 failures, worst Craftsman ever. November 01, 2011

    Great design of tool.  Have a 4-in-one like it at home that's been in use 20 years.  Bought a new one for work.  Plastic handle cracked on second use around shaft.  Replaced it.  Broke on first use.  Replaced it.  Broke on first use.  I was not being a Gorilla.  Clearly a bad batch, but Sears better watch it.

    This 6-in-1 screwdriver is very versatile and easy to use. So convenient to have both standard and phillip screwdrivers in one tool plus the nutdrivers. We have purchased a few of these to have in the house, garage and up at our cottage. We definitely would recommend this screwdriver.

    I've got this tool out in the open where I know exactly where it is so that I can grab it quickly for a multitude of uses. You can use this for multiple fastener tightening and loosening, so it really comes in handy. This was a good purchase for me, and I would recommend it.

    You might think, "sure, it's just a screwdriver," but oh, contrare. It is a Craftsman 6-in-1 screwdriver! This screwdriver is the most convenient screwdriver I own, switching between two sizes of slotted and two sizes of phillips, it will tackle most any job that totes a fairly standard-sized screw without the need for hunting for a screwdriver. My advice, add one of these to your collection, and put it in the most obvious and easy-to-reach places, you will use it quite allot. What's more? Sears sells replacement 6-in-1 bits if you ever lose the bits!
