A must have automotive accessory October 28, 2010
I used to scoff at people that used things like this because I used to feel that any type of container or bowl would work just fine to hold nuts and bolts while you worked on your project. Well, that all changed when I accidentally knocked over my container and spilled all my nuts and bolts all over the floor and some made it into the floor drain. My friend walked over with of these bowls and was holding it upside down as he gave me a hard time about my misfortune.
I now own one of these bowls and though I've had some mishaps, I haven't lost anything in awhile.

Do NOT Purchase this product November 13, 2011
If you decide to purchase this Magnet to hold your Screws, you will be wasting your money. A week after using it the glue that hold the magnet and plate together gave up. Now I have a $8 Magnet and a cheap metal plate. I don't think I need to purchase glue just to glue the magnet back into place. Were has Craftman gone?

affordable,useful!,good quality,handyI bought the Craftsman magnetic steel bowl for all of my crafty family members for Christmas. It is the perfect bowl to sit nearby your sewing machine to catch needles, tweezers, and any metal parts you take off your sewing machine when you clean it. The magnet is very powerful so I don't have to worry about anything falling out of the bowl in case it's tipped over. I never knew that I couldn't live without it and so glad I discovered it.

Must have when removing multiple screws or bolts September 21, 2011

Before I had this product, I had to constantly keep looking for droped bolts when working on my truck. The great part is the strong magnetic bottom which I can place on a flat metal area when I'm working. It stays put and so do the bolts. Another great product.

Cons:
cheaply made,WeakMagnet is not very strong at all. Not great will not hold a screw when tipped sideways. I reccomend buying a better product. It may be cheap, but it doesn't help. Now I bought something I am just going to replace with something better
