Craftsman  24 pc. Screwdriver Set

The Torx I did have were too big. Bought this set, plus the T10-T70 set. Turned out my old hard drive used both the T7 & T8. All that's left to purchase is the External set. Still looking to see what different sizes there are.

I could not be happier with the 24-piece screwdriver set!! I have used a lot of the various screwdrivers, and would recommend the set to anyone who even needed a small screwdriver only a couple of times!

These screwdrivers look sharp but its a good thing they have the life time guarantee because they need it. Rather than having the shaft of the screwdriver go all the way through the entire driver it ends short way up the head. This leads to snapping screwdrivers in half even in low stress utilization. I bought the set and have had to return at least three to four of the screw drivers already.

The rubber grip spins on the handle. Would have been better to have just solid plastic handle. I would not buy them again. I have an older set that is much better from Craftsman.

Didn't take a lot of force to break it under the rubber inset (that's where the shaft ends). The steel shaft should extend farther into the handle. Not for prying!

This set is used for those builds that have and use percision screws. Granted my set for some reason keeps disappering and I have to replace it yet again, but I have had no major issues with them. For those that require torque, I would not recommend this set. But as a PC builder, I love this set.

I purchased a set of these for my work to disassemble and re-assemble laptops. They have been great screw drivers and have held up to many abusive technicians. Only one screw driver has broken so far and it was from misuse. The ends/tips have held together nicely and the swivel tops make it nice when applying pressure. I would highly recommend them for use with small electronics or any other light-weight applications or electronics repair.

This will be my second set as my other were stolen, I never had a problem with the strength as mentioned in other reviews. The screwdrivers need to be used as they were meant to be used, They weren't designed to handle torque. There is a right tool for every job! There also is a reason you can't find an 1-1/2" socket for a 1/4" ratchet! Learn to use your tools properly and they will last!

Your sure to find hundreds of useful things to do with this Precision Screwdriver Set. You'll always be assured of have the right type tip, the right size tip and the right length screwdriver.

You will love the handsome styling of this tools as well. Each screwdriver is color coded to make it easy to indentify a slotted, phillips, torx, etc.

If buy this set, and I hope you will, you won't be making the same costly mistake I made. I looked at the set but thought I only needed a few of the sizes. So I opted to buy them individually rather than this complete set. Well, after seeing how useful they were, I kept returning to the store to pick up more. I now have a complete 24 piece set by it cost me about twice as much as it should have.

I know, dumb!

Just ordered my second set... first set was stolen. Obviously a good set since I reordered. They will break if you get some of those tough terminal screws. I broke two in my old set but were replaced, so no worries. Tips could be a little tougher seem to round easily. All in all a good set, probably $10-20 higher than they should be.
