really nice set of USA made prybars. I bought it on sale, but these are a great value compared to a tool truck brand. striking caps at the end of the handle....for those "special times"

I am very pleased with my purchase, definitely competes with Snap-on in quality but a third of the cost. Thank you Sears, keep the quality coming.

This the best set I've ever owned. I actually needed to buy them for a job because my Snap-On set had been stolen. The performance is excellent compared to my previous set and the price makes it a no brainer to buy them. For the first time ever, I'm actually glad I had to replace a stolen tool.

these come in really handy when U have to put a hammer to what ur working with!! I enjoy them more then my Snap-on set!!

The Craftsman Professional Pry Bars are second to none.  Fantastic non-slip comfort grips, great quality and full-length shanks with strike-caps put these equal to any competition - the price and warranty elevates them miles above!

When working on cars a set of good pry bars always come in handy.  This set is well made and when prying with all your might the last thing you want is the bar to come apart.  I have abused this set and still have great faith in the construction.  I see people are worried about the warranty with the branding wearing off, they are obviously Craftsman Pro series but personally I dont think you will ever need the warranty.  I could break an anvil and havent been able to break these.  Buy with confidence

Why would you ever need a pry bar when you have a perfectly god set of screw drivers in your tool box?  The screwdriver is the most abused tool in existence and is not designed to function as a pry bar.  I have seen several irrepairably bent screw drivers that had been used for prying, I have even seen a couple of them break.  Not sure about the Craftsman warranty but I saw that the guy on the tool truck would not warranty a bent screwdriver, it was obvious it had been abused.

These pry bars are solid pieces of tool steel, very sturdy, hardened for the task of prying.  The metal caps worry me, I'm afraid they will encourage folks to hammer the pry bar into place or to use it as a substitute scraper.  Always, always, wear eye protection when prying as small shards of metal can come off of parts unexpectedly.

One size does not fit all, that is why there are three in this set.  You may need two sets of these as gears usually require prying on both sides of the gear simultaneously with same-sized bars.

Working on restoring my '66 T-Bird has brought me some challenges and a need to have a tool selection on hand. I bought the 3 peice pry bar set and have used them many times. Knowing if one does work (based on size), another will. I found that the longest bar sets on the side of my rolling cabinet and rests in the rolling handle. They take a beating and I have never had a problem with bending them or having them rust. These will last me long enough to pass them along to my sons!
