GearWrenchs are great!
I bought the GearWrench flex head set because it was on special sale at
a very low price. I use them all the time now. This is one of those tools
that you don't know how you got by without them. Very high quality.

no quality tool
i'm a industrial maintenance and use these tools everyday. i've seen these tool fail on me a lot of time. the backlash washer which keeps the flex head in position would crack which will cause it to flex freely. the only good thing i can say about these wrench is that it is lifetime warranty and can be replace at some sears stores, but not all sears stores.

Good wrenches, poor warranty
The wrenches themselves are decent, used for two years before one broke, but when this happened, Sears would not honor GW like they honor Craftsman. I am selling all my GW tools, and never shopping at Sears again.

handy tool but tends to lock up.
I own both the straight and flex head Gearwrenches. My son and I do light mechanic work in our shop,mainly on four wheelers. The ratcheting wrench is very handy due to the fact that many places don't have enough room to get a socket in. However the bad part is that the wrenches are not marked as to the direction they are going. When you have your head and arm in a tight place and reach for the tool, you don't know if you are tightening or loosening. You have a 50/50 chance, and most of the time it is going the wrong way. Also I have found that the gear head tends to stick or jam up. It seems to do it when you are in the worst bind. A quick smack on something hard usually clears the jam. This upsets me the most when I am in a hurry or tight spot.

Gearwrench rules!
I love my Gearwrench set. I got it for Christmas and thought it was too nice to hold up to hard work like my Craftsman wrenches. It reall does the job and is just as good and saves a lot of time when I work on my yard machines and RV. The finish is beautiful and I am proud to display them on my peg board on the garage.

the most versitile wrench hand tool available of the time.
Working with hard to reach and sometimes even hard to see areas of diesel engines, this product (GEARWRENCH) is most definetly a must for every mechanic. The angles,the grip, and the polished looks are the most for just everyone!

I love these Wrenches. I bought them at christmas time and the really come in handy. I usually buy Craftsman, but when it comes to zip-wrenches, I like Gearwrench. Any time I have ever had a problem in the past, Sears replaced the tool on the spot and I didn't have to wait.
