Craftsman  43 pc. Standard and Metric 12 pt. Combination Wrench Set

I bought two of these sets and they are the greatest wrenches for ascending order of tools you can buy from Craftsman. All of them as I said are made in the United States of America. The finish was perfect, and NO imperfections at all. I have used these sets with cheater bars and they do not bend or break like the cheap chinese counter-parts. If you want a wrench set that you can pass down and be proud of, it is this one.

I have to admit, I purchase this set 2 weeks ago. It has to be the best set i ever owned. I have used every wrench in this set and the quality is superb.

Cannot beat the amount of wrenches that you get in this set for the price! American made, nice finish, and nice feel!

can't beat the warranty and reliability of these tools

Just picked them up, still USA made as of today, 2/1/2013. As others have mentioned they could be a little better on the finish, and some of the edges should have been knocked down prior to plating but they remain an excellent value.

Paid $150 and am very happy to have this range of larger sizes. Easy to get a good deal on the small wrenches but no other set has the bigger pieces at a better price. Quality: Good, not great. Nice shine and polish. No plating flake (this is good). Sharp edges on some (~6-8 wrenches), shallow size markings on others (10+). This set is augmenting a 20-year old ~12-piece craftsman set and the older wrenches feel smoother and still look better (crisp markings) than the new. The sharp edges needed to be broken before flash and plating finishes and can't be done now without affecting look and wear. Good longish pattern design (handle length ratio), way better than cheapo sets. Oddly, the pattern design is different from my older Craftsman wrenches but not consistently longer nor shorter. Missing piece: Received 43 pieces all right - but 2x 24mm and no 25mm. Sears will exchange if i ask, i'm sure, but the 25mm is useless anyway. Useless sizes: See separate review for useless sizes.

I'd buy these again and again. Look great, work great, feel great. I love having the correct size every time I reach in my box.

This set includes every size you'll ever need for just about every job you'll ever encounter. Each wrench is excellent quality, great finish, classic design. Made in the US and oozing Craftsman quality. The open end edges are a little sharp, but no big deal. The smallest wrenches are normal style, not midget. This is the set that should be carried in store. My only wish is that they offered a case so you could easily take these wherever you go.

I recently purchased the 43 pc. S&M combination wrench set and I must say it's definitely the best bank for the buck out there. I am building my tool set from scratch and found a great deal on this set. It has every wrench you need and of course comes with a Lifetime warranty. Great Set.
