Great flex handle! April 02, 2011

This flex handle is great for a tire iron breaker bar. The long handle makes breaking lug nuts loose a breeze. My only complaint is that the head's several positions don't hold when there is a socket on the end. Other then that this is a great bar for the price.

Craftsman 1/2 in. dr. 18 in. Flex Handle Breaker Bar falls apart March 10, 2011

I've been a loyal Craftsman patron for over 30 years. My first tool box was a Craftsman and I have 3 standing tool boxes in the garage from Craftsman and they're full of Craftsman tools. I'm a member of the club and even have a craftsman compressor, creeper, drop-light and more. My garage is a Craftsman commercial. Over the last 5 years I've become increasingly dissapointed in my Craftsman tools. I just returned my breaker bar for the 3rd time because the swivel pin keeps dropping out of it or it snaps while removing axle nuts. I've been repeatedly returning my ratcheting combo wrenches and none of my socket sets have the original ratchets anymore. I enjoy leaving positive feedback whenever possible but this just isn't one of those times.

Perfect in every way May 02, 2012

This was just what I needed to get a stubborn 17mm drain plug off a 2001 civic oil pan. It's amazing that I had to revert to a breaker bar, but once I did, it came off easily. I had even tried my 1/2 inch drive impact wrench at 90psi without success, but this took it right off!

    It's a craftsman, so it's covered when it breaks. April 11, 2012
    via Sears.com
    By toolman-dano of Auburn, NH

When I went to use the flex handle for the first time the 1/2" drive broke. I brought it back to my Sears in Manchester, NH where they exchanged it no problem. Went to use the new one that I had received and that one also broke. Brought that one back, would have exchanged it again but they had none in stock. It showed 9 in there system but nothing was available. Don't know if it was just a bad batch or bad luck. But I'll always buy craftsman tools because I do believe that they do make great products!

Craftsman 18 in. Flex Handle, 1/2 in. Drive April 09, 2012
    via Community Review
By Mr-Mac of Saint Peters, MO

You don't need a 'cheater bar' on your 3/8-in. drive ratchet, just pick up your 1/2-in. drive ratchet and be done with it! This is a torque monster and will break just about anything loose from lug nuts to alternator or head bolts! I could never get by without this gem in my arsenal!

The Craftsman 1/2 in 18 in breaker bar work great. December 27, 2011

    Pros:
Craftsman guaranteed,Long handle for leverage,Made in the USA

I needed to free up a large sub frame bolt, the 1/2 drive is a plus because 1/2 sockets are more rugged, the long handled provided good leverage. The bar was sturdy and takes the stress off my ratchets. Price was reseasonable.
