Best bottle cap opener since the bottle cap was invented! March 20, 2010
I picked mine up on clearance, which is a 80th anniversary edition, just because I liked the way it looked. Never did I realize that I had purchased the best **** bottle opener one can barter money for! It looks cool, feels cool, and opens bottles with such little effort. Its like flipping a light switch to open your bottle. Flick... and your ready to go. I really like how you can pull up or push down to open the bottle. Its your choice. It grabs the cap so easily and pulls it up off the bottle no matter which way you open it. Wonderful job sears!

Disappointed December 28, 2006
When I first saw this item advertised, I thought it could be a useful tool. It would be great to have a wrench to open stuck screw tops like on brake fluid cans, the oil fill cap on a chain saw, etc. (a more use specific tool than pliers). When I saw it in the store, I realized that it was a lift top bottle opener, not screw top. No "wrench" action at all. If you want a simple lift top bottle opener, take a look at item #41626 with the screw driver handle. I've used one for years and am completely satisfied.

NONENot to much you can say about a bottle opener, but everyone needs one of these in their shop. Looks great hanging on the toold box and its also a fun little opener to toss around. Always seems to spark conversation and im constantly getting asked where i got it so they can get one of their own.

Just got done with working on the Firebird and I needed a beer. The beer I chose didn't have a screw off top so I reached for my Craftsman wrench bottle opener and had my ice cold beer! Yum! Worked like a champ!
