I have owned one just like it for over 10 years, had it re-calibrated by Sears one time and I use it weekly on my motorcycles. Although this torque wrench could use an update, like making numbers larger to read, overall I was completely satisfied with my old one, so why spoil a good thing and got a new one this time rather than re-calibrate (which costs about 3/4 cost of new one). I think this wrench is way better than the MicroTorq models which I have owned, they fell apart after one drop to the floor. Basically best value out there for torque wrenches in my opinion.

I've had one for a couple of years. With the ratchet, it is much more convenient than my older bending beam torque wrenches. Haven't checked accuracy. It might be a pound light in the 7 ft-lb range.
The little windows that show the torque settings magnify the numbers but then add reflections on top. So they are no real advantage except for cleanliness inside.
You have to hold tension on a cap at the end of the handle to change settings. That's great if you only want one setting. However, it is much less convenient when changing between settings.
Had a problem with garbage collecting under one of the windows where you read the setting. Had to pry out the window with a small screwdriver and pick out some bits of cellophane tape that came loose iinside the wrench. I hope that whatever it was holding together stays together.

I have had this torque wrench for over 10 years with no trouble. Checked it against a Snapon electronic torque wrench about 2 years ago and it was right on.
Purchased this torque wrench approximately a year ago, thinking it would be handy to have for torques. 6 months into use, this torque wrench stopped being able to ratchet. Pulled the head apart to inspect the ratcheting mechanism and could not find any flaws. Sears does not warrant this item for more than 90 days, understandable since it is a calibrated instrument, and calibration cannot be guaranteed after even the first few uses.
Unfortunately, sears does not even carry a rebuild kit for this wrench, nor does it look like any ratcheting head that they have on any of their other lines. Needless to say this wrench will probably cost more to send in for repair and calibration than it costs brand new.
My best suggestion to anyone is not to buy a craftsman item that does not carry a lifetime warranty. Although I love all my other craftsman handtools that take up both of my 26" tool boxes :)
Don't buy this wrench, it does not have a lifetime warranty like craftsman tools used to have. Mine broke a little after a year.
Shocked to find out about 1 year warranty
Just purchased K-D wrench with lifetime warranty for less $$$
