Good durable wrench. Both metric and english scales are accurat March 13, 2011
I bought this a few years ago. Works good.
To the person who thinks the N-m ft-lb scales don't line up properly- I thought this at first too, but if you are actually torquing something they do line up properly. The scales and indicator are calibrated for when your are torquing and there is a curvature on the indicator's rod. If you are just moving the indicator with your finger then the N-m ft-lb scales won't line up right.

big problem with scales November 16, 2009
The manual I use for my vehicle gives torque specs in Nm and Ft/lbs. I just happened to notice that the torque spec for my head nuts on the engine I'm building is 35 Nm. The manual also gave the spec it Ft/lbs which according to the manual is 25.8 Ft/lbs. However when I used the this torque wrench I noticed that 35 Nm didn't really line up very close to 25.8 it actually lines up between 20 and 22.5 Ft/lbs. I consulted a few different conversion charts for Nm to Ft/lbs and each confirmed that 35Nm=25.8Ft/lbs. So what is it? Am I over torquing or under torquing? Hard to trust this tool...

Digital wrenches are more preciseThis is just a nice basic torque wrench. I would recommend the fancier model that clicks at the proper torque if you might have a hard time seeing the face of the gauge or need to be very precise.
I like that it comes in a (somewhat flimsy however, plastic container which can store the wrench in most normal situations.
