Craftsman  4 pc. Pliers Set

This is a Great Craftsman Plier Set that is a terrific value, and it is backed by the Craftsman lifetime warranty.

A simple set that has proven to be invaluable time after time! Well constructed set of the most commonly needed pliers at a good price and covered by that Craftsman warranty! Never go wrong with these! By the way, my set is US made!

If you want a good set of Craftsman pliers then look no further.  The longer handles on some of the pliers in the set are great for adding leverage and increasing the reach.  There are several other comparable sets of pliers on the market but these are the kind that get the job done.

I have the three piece set so when it came time to purchase my son’s first complete set of tools, it was a no brainer as to what I was going to purchase. This set has 7” Diagonal Pliers which is a bonus as my set did not have it included and the four were actually cheaper than my original set. The other three pliers are awesome. Like all Craftsman tools, these pliers are a workhorse. I have had mine for several years and even when abused by my sons, the quality has shown through for which Craftsman is known. I have never been worried about them as the Craftsman warranty is second to none. I keep mine like brand new by keeping them cleaned and stored with a light coat of 3-N-1 oil. Only the 6-3/4 in. slip joint shows any wear and tear mainly because it was left out in the elements and pretty much beat up by my son. The non-slip handles still feel good in the hand and the jaws work as if they were brand new with no slippage in either aspect.

The Craftsman 4-piece plier set is great for all home and auto repairs.  It includes the most commonly used models.  The needle nose model has been the most useful for me.  I really like the joint design too - there's no rivet or anything protruding from the sides, it's just totally smooth.

I've used cheep pliers and they have loose joints and just feel cheep, these don't, even after four years.  Whenever I need a pair of pliers I go past all the others in the drawer and grab my Craftsman pliers.

This is another one of those "Sorry Craftsman, they're still working..." reviews.  I bought this set of pliers 25 years ago when I was building a new set of tools for working on aircraft.  I am still using the same set of pliers!  Yes, I have purchased other specialty pliers for specific tasks but none beats this Craftsman set for reliability and durability.  The diagonal pliers have nicely aligned jaws for precise cutting, always a problem with inexpensive dikes.  Just make sure you keep them clean and very slightly oiled.

My wife is a crafter.  She was always wanting to borrow my tools so I gave her a set of these pliers 20 years ago.  She is still using hers as well.

I feel bad, I should be supporting Craftsman and buying more tools but, sorry, most of them just never wear out.
