All position spherical multi surface mounting base allows the user to level and plumb the laser on the same or multiple adjacent wall surfaces. Accurate to +/- 1/2 @ 30-quickly and easily center the vials to level and plumb the laser fan beam. Three, back-lit level vials enhance the vial visibility in less than perfect lighting. Rubber over-mold grip provides comfort and control while enhancing the durability of the tool. Craftsman belt storage pouch. Conveniently stores the laser level and base keeping the tool protected from the elements or other tools in the tool box. Okay, but no more precise than the built-in bubble level
This seems like a good, well made, affordable laser level. I tried it both on a tripod and with the included "removable" adhesive wall mounts, seeking a straight, level line while affixing brass-faced foam letters to the wall. Obviously, the line it projects is straight. As for the level part, the laser line can only be as level as you make it relying on the bubble level(s) built into this unit. For a project requiring an eight-foot-long straight line, I did not think the bubble level lent itself well to the precision I was seeking; I was not confident that I was marking a level line. (When you need to mark a relatively long line, the problem simply is that a tiny movement at one end of the beam moves the other end quite a bit. Sure, this may seem obvious, but as a practical matter, it made me wish I had a long level to verify that the straight line I was projecting for my particular task really was level.) In concept, I liked the adhesive mounts that have one permanent side for the laser level and a removable side for the wall. Once I stuck it to the wall, it held so fast that I was very concerned about removing it again without damaging the wall, either peeling off paint or marring the paint from having to pry off the laser level. So be cautious about what you stick it to. If your task does not require great precision-- for example, simply lining up the bottoms of a couple of adjacent pictures-- this would be a fine tool to use.

Palm Grip Laser is a big help in hanging Pics in my Yankee Room.
I just redid a room in my house as a Yankees' Fan Room. I had lots of Yankees' Autographed Photos to hang. They are various sizes and some are horizontal and some vertical. I read that you should line up the bottom of the frames when you have different frames. I spent quite a bit of money on the room itself. It has Yankee Blue walls, a white chair rail and pinstripped wallpaper below the chair rail. I purchased a $650.00 Stainmaster carpet with the Yankee Logo spaced out all over it and had it installed. The ceiling is white and I had a ceiling fan with Yankee Logos on the blades. It looked great and I wanted my Memorabilia to look just as good. With the Palm Grip Laser it was easy for an amateur like myself to align them almost perfectly. Now I receive as many compliments on the arrangement of the photos as I do on the rest of the room. It really looks great.

Great inexpensive tool for wall projects.
I bought this a few weeks ago and used it several times without the tripod, and the built in level bubbles work great. I haven't hung pictures this straight ever. Well worth the money, and recommend the tripod as well.

A lot of features packed into a convenient sized tool
Tools is very handy for leveling projects. The only thing I didn't like is to "adhere" it to the wall as shown in the pictures, there are 4 tiny nails that protrude out from the bottom of the level and into your wall causing 4 small holes in your wall. There is also a set of magnets which will keep the level in place on metal surfaces.
I would recommend this product to a friend.
