Good jack- Good price August 17, 2010
I have been depending on my father who has a very nice snap on jack when i need to jack my car up. I had an emergency and needed a jack. I purchased this jack because I have a lowered car, and needed the low profile capability. This jack fits under my car, gets it high enough in the air to perform tasks under the car. Also- it comes at a great value, which is good becuase I am on a budget. I don't really have any complaints. Its a solid jack, it is weighty (as with any jack), and is a great value for cost.

Craftsman low profile floor jack wouldn't stay up. March 08, 2011
Have had my old Craftsman floor jack for over 25 years and it had served me well, but didn't want to go up the last time I needed it. Decided to get another small one rather than rush to get this one fixed. The low profile design of this one seemed to be a great idea as I remembered all the times my other one was just a little too tall to fit where I wanted it. Took it home and lifted the car and as I placed the jack stands realized the jack was slowly coming down. Pumped it back up got the stands into position, leaving the jack up and in position. A couple of hours later the jack was all the way down. Pulled the jack out from under the car, checked to make sure the bleed valve was all the closed and jacked it back up with no load and overnight it again went all the way down,

Cons:
Overall a dissapointing product.,Wouldn't stay upThe first craftsman jack I bought had to be taken apart and fixed, according to the instructions that came in the box. It started leaking hydralic oil and bleeding off, making it very dangerous. I returned the jack and had a very pleasant experience with the sales staff at Sears. I was immediately given a replacement jack. I took that jack home. It did not have to be taken apart, but it is leaking hydralic oil and bleeding off.
