kmart was fun, this item is not!
The experience at Kmart was excellent, however I really wish I did not buy this particular CO alarm. This is really not a quality product at all. The unit wasn't packaged properly, kept beeping once I installed it, and registered a low battery warning shortly thereafter. Stay away from this unit!

Hard to review this kind of item.
The test button works just fine. Unless there is an actual leak in the house AND the sensors are working properly, how else might I know the product is working well? Kidding aside.....the unit seems fine and I couldn't find a better price elsewhere.
I would recommend this product to a friend.

First Alert Carbon Monoxide Alarm
The device is dificult to mount on the ceiling. Due to the spacing needed to slide the device onto the mounting screw heads, a gap between the back of the alarm and the ceiling is created. It is much easier and looks better to mount it on a vertical wall.
I would recommend this product to a friend.
