Craftsman three tray tool organizer with parts storage lid April 27, 2011
Material durability is great, droped it dozens of times and still hold and looks great. Latches are very secure and locking feature is a nice peace of mind. Clear parts trays on top are convient way to store those little screws and bolts when working on your car without them flying everywhere if you accidently knock it over. Bottom storage area is great for the long plactic Craftsman socket storage strips, three strips loaded with sockets fit nicely in mine. Handle is comfortable too.

Tool Organizer nice idea poor construction April 28, 2011
Wanted to try something other than a standard tool box for sprinkler heads, fittings, and tools. Everything fits and the organizer is easy to use and is handy. Now for the bad. The first one I received from the store had a broken hinge and clasp on one of the lids. It was easy to see how this could happen again. The plastic lid is thin and can easily be broken. The side latches aren't much better. I will have to take care to make sure that the sections are aligned or the latches will brake.

Pros:
design for storage well thought out,The body of the organizer is sturdy.I recently stared my Christmas shopping and the men were first on the list. My husband and I had went to Sears together to sort through the gift ideas I had and immediately we decided on the tool organizer for all of the men in the family. It has plenty of storage and is small enough to hide away in a storage shed.

I own two of these boxes and cannot say enough about them. My use is for R/C racing and I have one for each SC truck (Slash 4X4 / SC10 RS). Very top bins (between handle) are great for placing extra screw packages in, amd small items you may need to get at fast. The storage capacity is great for parts and tools. You do have to watch that you do not pack it above the tray walls so you do not damage the side latches. I was aware of this prior to purchasing so it is a non-issue, just make sure the trays are laying flat on each other and if you have resistance when latching check to see if something may have one of the trays tilted. Bottom line a great product!
