Pretty darn good if you need them
I was not sure I wanted to buy these. Why not just put up some 1x wood that can be painted to match the wall. Well I bought a wall cabinet and was told they were on sale. So I figured for the cabinet I would buy a couple tracks. I got 4 in total. I used two to hang that cabinet, one to hang a ladder, and one to hang all my wife's garden tools. After that I was hooked (pun intended). I now have about 10 on the wall and another 16 in boxes waiting to go up. I have not finished redoing my work area in the garage and these items are the last few to go up.
I agree that if they would reduce the price on the PANELS they would be much easier to use and install. But the PANELS cost more then double. Not to mention the 20% off and buy 3 get 1 free deal I got on these.
I have a number of the wire hangers to use on these but I am thinking a lot of the smaller ones are a waste. The larger items to hold shovels, brooms, and ladders work great. The individual wrench holder seems a bit silly if you have the 5 drawer cabinet.
All in all they are easy to install (drill your own holes) with a stud finder. Easy to use when using Gladiator wire hangers. And they hold a good deal of weight as my wall cabinet is nearly full plus stuff on top and it is not coming off the wall.
All in all I love Gladiator items but do not over tighten the bolts as they are cheap and break easily!!!

Great for organization
The gladiator gear track is very easy to use and creates a nice modular system for hanging up all your garage items. I liked the fact that it has hooks, shelves and baskets for any item you would need to organize. From the picture I thought this was aluminum but it is actually a vinyl/clad type material. The hooks and accessories are expensive, but are quality.

Great Wall Track System
very efficient, easy to install, clean and neat appearance, can hang many tools. i lined my garage walls and the laundry room with them. it gets all my tools off the floor and easy to locate by sight. it's like doing a 5S lean manufacturing system.

I have actually bought several of these over the last year. It is kind of fun finding different ways to organize my garage. My only regret i guess is that I should have used one of the wall systems instead of the separate tracks...just for more versitility. I do suggest that you find your studs and mark the channels and pre-drill. Even at that,they can be hard to keep level and butted up against another peice of channel. Probably not an issue if you have another set of hands helping you. i usually don't!

Easy to install with suitable wood screws onto drywall over studs. I have several of these holding two 30" Gear Boxes and three pairs of Storage Bin holders.

A great way to use wall space in the garage. Many different hooks available. Hooks lock in place & can easily be moved. The items are a bit pricy but shoul be ok in long run

Well made product and two work well for mounting cabinets. Seems a little odd that they recommend screws into each stud, when the track is only 48" and on a 16" center wall, you would have to attach screws within 1/2" of each edge or signicantly slant the screws, neither of which seems very reliable. Maybe its simply a ploy to make one purchase additional tracks so one can get at least three solid attachments to the studs.
I would recommend this product to a friend.
