Use these to hold shoe racks in the garage near the steps into the house. They hold the racks just fine and installed in a snap. Like the included trim pieces for the ends to make it look a little more finished. Like all the Gladiator stuff, it's pricey but well-made and works well.

The wall panels are great for a large surface area and giving you the flexibility of moving things around to customize for your needs. They secure easily and the garageworks components attach and move easily as well. My only complaint is the price. The price seems steep for 2 panels. Especially when you'll need quite a few to cover a wall.

I like the material that these are made out of. It is easy to work with and the screws draw the material close to the wall in spite of any imperfections in the wall. The material is strong and the hanging system is well thought out. It appears that Whirlpool thought of everything, just look at the list of accessories. I'm going to install the two that I purchased between the workbench and the wall cabinets.

This product is where it's at! It is not for those who are afraid to open the checkbook though. Plan and measure your area and you will find that it's money well spent for both looks and function. Easy to cut and mount with simple tools. You'll need to know where the wall studs are but if your garage is only sheetrocked and taped like mine, they're obvious. Predrill screw holes through pannels. Cut outs for outlets and switches can be done with a jigsaw or by hand with a coping saw. I will probably do my entire garage when I get extra ca$h.

I have been in the process of creating a dream garage to organize power tools, hand tools and sporting goods equipment for 2 years, a few hundred dollars every other month. I have installed gear wall panels and gear tracks on different walls, both look great and are just as flexible in customizing the storage.

My wife and I have been able to install the walls with minimal disruptions, (a miter saw makes joints a snap).The only difficulty I have ever experienced has been with my last internet order on the last 4 pairs of panels, great price but the shipping was a nightmare. A 3 to 5 business day delivery turned into 6 business days without a valid UPS tracking number. A call to customer support finally got the order shipped by a contract carrier and another 10 business day delay. When the boxes finally showed up all the cardboard showed signs of multiple handling and gouges in the exterior of the cardboard. 1 end flap was open and a corner of the panel was cracked, (salvaged because it was cutoff at a door location). Another box had a lot of external damage, and the one of the panels inside (shipped 1 pair per box) was so damaged in multiple places that is unusable.
