Well worth the selling price but somewhat not accurately described. I should be very happy with this box because it came free with the purchase of the upper and lower combo.....However... The drawers are pulled out on the photo. They do not show that the locking of the drawers is done with bars locked in place through slots in the front of the drawers. This is true for the Rolling 5 drawer cabinet, Intermediate 3 drawer Box, and Top 7 drawer tool box. If you get all three units then you have 4 flat bars (2 on the top box) running down the front. Also...Sears says they have no way to match up keys so you may end up with three separate keys on one combo set. Otherwise Happy with the purchase. Just have to watch the total weight in each drawer and total weight. You are not paying for the biggest and the best here.

Good bang for the buck, if yours insn't crushed December 31, 2007

I bought this today on sale. I also bought a more-expensive Craftsman roll-away and thought this would work fine with it. The box on the roll-away was trashed so natually I anticipated the worst, but to my surprise it was flawless. The box for the intermediate box had no signs of damage but when I pulled out the toolbox it was crushed... literall smooshed from the top down about 1/2" and bottom up about the same... a prank from the manufacturer? Who knows, but this is the second severly damaged toolbox I've purchased from two different Sears locations in just the last week. I will probably get another one. These homeowners series boxes are marginally ok to get the job done, but just don't overload the drawers. The "quiet glide" line and up are much sturdier boxes, but for the intermediate chest this one will cut it for me.

I knew the quality of the product & got exactly what I paid for. December 17, 2009

I knew from having visited a Sears Store exactly what the quality of my tool chest was and ordered the intermediate chest knowing what I was going to get. It arrived in less than a week. The packaging was intact and when I opened the box the chest was in great shape. It fits where it was supposed to and was easy to secure although I found it easier to drill my own holes than use the ones provided. I have never been disappointed in a Sears product and customer satisfaction has always been very high. I get disappointed in reviews that blame Sears for shipping problems/damage or less than expected quality. Customers need to take responsibility for researching use, size and quality issues PRIOR to ordering. Ask questions first and avoid the whining later.

Thank you, Sears, for continuing to provide excellent products that fit my needs and budgets.I appreciate your dependability.

    3 drawer June 17, 2007

I bought this as part of a combo set (00959734000, 00959885000, 00959735000) for my husband for his birthday. I was able to easly assemle the unit myself. The drawers were easy to remove and replace so that I could attach the chests to each other. I had no trouble opening the drawers one handed, they moved very smoothly, and hold lots of tools. I had bought some of the no slip drawer liner and lined the drawers to help keep the tools in place. For people with a tight budget, but still would like a Craftsman tool chest combo unit-We highly recommend these pieces!
