Craftsman  All-Purpose Stapler/Brad Nailer EasyFire Forward Action

I did like the design of the product, it is useful for light duty projects. I've used the product off and on for years, (both nails & staples). I didn't have the jamming issues others talked about so I feel fortunate. I did notice a crack in the outer casing that eventually led to the front completely falling off yesterday. I wouldn't recommend this for heavy duty types of use, but more for small light jobs. Since the outer shell is plastic, one should take care not to throw or toss around. I plan to try to repair it with super glue - but my expectations are not high. I rated this average since I've had this gun many years, use about 10 times a year - each project I may use 50-100 staples (or nails). Good for kids science projects, etc

Having used Arrow staplers for years I wanted to try the Forward firing design models as they can sink staples better and with less bounce back. I've only use the stapler here and there for small projects over the 5 years I've owned it (maybe a few thousands staples). In the beginning the unit worked great and was fun to use. The forward firing design worked as advertised and made sinking staples easy. Unfortunately the unit started to have occasional jamming issues, which got worse and worse. Since I don't need a stapler all that often I haven't replaced it, but it can only shoot maybe ten staples before jamming. As such I spend alot of time using choice words as I untangle the staples mashed together inside the feeding device. The unit only has a 1 year warranty so don't be fooled into getting one and then finding out it doesn't work so well after time. The Unit is mostly plastic, so maybe that is the cause of the premature wear which causes it to jam.

This stapler never has placed a staple on the first or second attempt after loading with staples in the over four years I have owned the stapler. Now the stapler misfires about every third staple that I attempt to place. As I looked at it today I see that the plastic has cracked in the tray that holds the staples and must be jamming the staples. I have several other staplers that I have owned for twenty years or more, that I used to finish the job today. I do not plan on replacing this stapler with another Sears stapler as I have never had this much trouble with a stapler. The only positive I could offer is that when it works, which is not often, it is easier to use than the older design staplers. Too bad the poor construction hinders the design.

great design, puts the force over where the staples are pointing. have had no issues with this stapler, and have used for a variety of tasks, reupholstering dining room chairs, hanging Christmas decorations outdoors, etc... I have probably shot over 3000 staples through this thing without an issue, I have only used the brad nailer feature a few times but it has worked great as well.

I have owned this stapler for years. I recommened this to all. So easy to use. If you have small hands or ones that are not strong, you will love this one. I love the wire guide. It is great for hanging Christmas lights. Bought another one the other day just so my wife would leave mine alone.

The stapler is easy to load and use for light work. I got it to put up christmas decorations ( running lights along the ceiling) and its one-handed operation came in handy. I bought it on sale and the price was right

The design of this staplegun is unbeatable! It's a simple solution to a problem every other stapler has, and best of all, it's a Craftsman for a price that compares to, and beats, other staplers that don't offer the performance, reliability and functionality of this one. I was more than happy to toss my stanley staplegun when I got this one.

THIS IS A VERY GOOD STAPLER. ITS JUST TO BAD YOU CANT BUY A CASE TO PUT IT IN.
