    The best little tool April 01, 2009

    A co-worker told me about this. I was a bit skeptical, but the online reviews were pretty positive, so I gave one a try. Man did this make the wood chips fly when I was done! I don't think I've had a chain sharpened that well in a long time. It does require some assembly and set-up; in a way it seemed a little complicated for such a small tool, but its important to adjust it for the correct stone size for your chain before you start. Some reviews criticize the quality of the directions, but just read them carefully and you'll be fine. By the time you sharpen your second blade, it will have paid for itself!

    Great idea. March 16, 2011

    this is a great idea. i dont think my chainsaw has cut this good since installing a new bar and chain. i found the directions for adjusting the guide to be irritaing, and honestly tossed the guide aside. the chain can easily be sharpened by by holding the stone @ the correct angle, which varies from saw to saw but can be found in the saw or replacement chain instructions.

    if i had it to do over again, i wouldnt purchase the kit only the appropriate size stones for my saws. however i must admit, i probably wouldnt have got the idea on my own w/o seeing the kit.

    This is a beauty. Extra simple to instal on your rotary drill tool, easy to read angle guide, lightweight.... Replacing the stones is inexpensive and you can get them at almost any hardware store. Make sure you are sharpening all cutters at the same angle and depth!

    Cons:
    stones wear fast.

    screws on quick, works with an inverter on your dremel for in the field use.  Great for a quick sharpen without pulling the chain and gets you back to cutting fast.
