Palmgren press is nothing like the picture
Ricwoz is right product is very rough with no markings maybe ashamed to put their name on it. the handel was packed prerusted I didnt have to wait for it to rust. Called Sears right away to let them know to change the picture it is not what is advertised. I thought after a year thay would have fixed it Nope I was wrong.

I bought this from Sears catalog. The delivered item does not match the pictured item very well. The one I got was a crude black, not the nice blue pictured. It had no manufacturers identification on it, again unlike the pictured version. It's a very hefty tool, 85lbs. The free delivery was nice. My take is that I paid for one thing and got something else. It worked for the job (bearing cup install on mc frame) I bought it for, so I won't take it back. But I'll also be reluctant to buy more 'catalog only' tools from Sears. Looks like either they or Palmgren did a bait and switch and delivered a cheap Chinese clone of an American machine to me. "Everyone's doing it" is not an excuse I accept from my children, and I certainly won't accept it from Sears, a company I have bought every tool I own from for 35 years.
