Estwing Camper's Axe...The Pick Of The Litter
I have all three of the commonly available camper's axes by Estwing. These are the E24A, the E45A, and the model being reviewed, the E44A. This is a real axe, albeit with a shortish handle. It is able to do much more than the terrific E24A, and is an easier tool to carry than the E45A. It's heavier build as compared to the E24A enable it to handle real chopping duties. All three of the axes have their virtues, but this axe is not too big and not too small. If I was going to bring but one axe into uncharted territory, it would be this one. It's truly a 'Jack of all trades.' The terrific build quality of Estwing's products ensure that with little care, they will last several lifetimes. I wonder who I'm going to will my Estwing tools to?
I would recommend this product to a friend.
