Cast zinc head with black finish. Acrylic yellow barrel vial. Hardened, removable scriber. Steel blade is permanently stamped in 1/8ths, 1/16ths, and 1/32nds. For general carpentry use, combination squares have heads with fences in. at 45 and 90 degrees. The square head slides along the blade and can be locked in position, allowing you to accurately transfer a distance and hold it while drawing your pencil line. Combination squares are good for marking lines on lumber that you will use in your projects.

Great Tool
12 inch Dast Iron combo Square is one of the most used items in my shop when I am doing my wood projects. I love this tool. It is solid and sturdy and makes extremely accurate measurments. I use it also to check squareness on my tablesaw, checking and marking projects that I need to square up. It makes a great straight edge and a great rule. quick and easy 90 & 45 degrees.
I would recommend this product to a friend.
