MY WIFE AND I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A GOOD CAST IRON GRIDDLE FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS. WE HAD RESEARCHED ONLINE REVIEWS FOR MANY NAME BRAND AND OFFBRAND GRIDDLES. AFTER CONSIDERING COOKING SPACE, EASE OF USE AND HANDLING AND DESIGN, WE PICKED THE SANDRA LEE GRIDDLE. IT IS THE PERFECT SIZE FOR OUR STANDARD STOVETOP, FITTING PERFECTLY ON TWO BURNERS. THE FIRST TIME WE USED IT, WE LET IT HEAT UP WITH A LIGHT WIPING OF COOKING OIL, AND, PROCEEDED TO COOK THE BEST PANCAKES WE HAVE HAD IN A LONG TIME! THERE WAS NO PROBLEMS WITH STICKING....THE PANCAKES CAME OUT GREAT...CLEANUP WAS A BREEZE...AND THE HANDLES MAKE IT SO MUCH EASIER TO HANDLE THAN OTHER GRIDDLES. THERE ARE MORE EXPENSIVE GRIDDLES OUT THERE, BUT, FOR THE MONEY, THIS GRIDDLE IS DEFINITELY A WINNER!!!
