The 4 piece barbados luggage set was very convenient. July 27, 2010
We have just traveled interisland from the Island of Maui to the Island of Oahu and the 4 piece barbados luggage set was very convenient and easy to use. This set had many pockets to use and was expandable and could fit quit a bit of items in each suitcase. The zippers on this 4 piece set was easy-it never got stuck or it wasn't sticky like some luggage sets I have had before. The luggage itself was very light-weight and not heavy to begin with. The wheels were never a problem as well, very smooth. Handcarry was spacious, I could keep all of my belongings that I needed in it with me that I needed right away. What I really loved about it was I could place a lot of items in it and it didn't start tearing or breaking in anyway. In the past I have done that and the luggage I previously have had has torn or broke within minutes. Over all this is the best luggage set yet.
I would recomment this luggage set to everyone I know. It was a great price. It is yet the best luggage set I have every purchased.

Spend More--Buy Better Quality April 25, 2010
Only used these twice. Cruise to Bahamas 2009. No problems. Cruise to Mexico 2010. Weren't even on the boat when largest suitcase wheel stopped rolling on one side. Had to drag the rest of the trip. Found out it was a factory problem. "Good" wheel had washer/spacer on each side of wheel. "Bad" wheel had no washer/spacer installed on axle. Wheel rubbed housing until it destroyed wheel. Can't find any way to contact company for replacement parts. You get what you pay for.

Cons:
cheaply madePurchased this as well as 3 piece set, great price yes but cheaply made, fell apart after 1 trip to Disney World...do not recommend. Plastic inside was in pieces when we arrived at Disney.

My husband is in the Airforce and we were preparing to PCS to Ramstein Germany for 3 years. We decided it would bee wise to invest in some good luggage for our travels. We then went to Sears to find some luggage suitable for us. After looking at dozens of other sets, we decided that the Barbados 4 Piece Set Lauggage - Black was the best choice. We shelled out nearly 100 dollars for the set. We packed our luggage and headed for the airport. As we navigated through the Gulfport Mississippi terminals, we noticed that it was getting increasingly hard to roll our luggage. when we got off the plane and headed to the Taxi cab, it was as if the suitcases had no wheels at all. We inspected them when we got to our hotel and realized that the wheels were worn down, even flattened in places and were completely unuseable. So, thank you Sears, we now know where not to rely on quality products.
