Kenmore  Bagless Canister Vacuum

Have owned two earlier models of this vacuum sweeper for light cleaning. This is by far the best model for hardwood floors and short carpet.

I bought a new-to-me travel trailer and built a small house recently so I was looking for an easy to store canister vacuum for my wood and tile floors and area rugs. The small vacuums I saw were poorly made with thin plastic, hoses that were stiff and narrow, very loud and had little suction. I happened on this Kenmore, read reviews from a few sites and took a chance. I'm glad that I did. This is a little workhorse. While it makes a fair amount of noise, the level is nothing compared to the others. The suction is strong and consistent. The tiny crevice tool, with it's fold up brush, is great for those small areas between cabinets and in corners, the sweeper head works very well on the area rugs and the handle on the tube makes using it alone (without attachments) easy. There is not an extension for the tube, so a tall person may have to stoop a bit, that's the only downside I find with this unit. It stores in the small area under the sofa in my RV. It is not heavy but is solidly built.

i have had this vacuum for about 14 months now. i love it!! i use it for cleaning the hard wood floors and the tile only as it has no power bar attachment for carpets. it is small easy and does the job. i love that it is bagless and easy to empty. i clean houses professionally and this vacuum is great for transporting in and out of the car. my only con: the part that makes the wand adjust broke and now i have to bend over to use this vacuum. :( otherwise this is a great basic afforable vacuum for floors.

GREAT FOR SMALL AREAS. NOT FOR WHOLE HOUSE.

I have used these Canister Vac for quite some time now. It has very good suction but not enough tools on board. The dusting brush is not very big. Could improve your dusting brush. Other than that I can't complain. It's very easy to use plus there is a lot of suction!!!!

This cleaner may be good for light work. It is not strong enough for rugs especially if there is dog hair. We made the wrong choice and upgraded to a more powerful machine with brushes. I would not recommend this vacuum for use with rugs.

I bought this as "new other"and it`s like new. I don`t know why those negative reviews posted false information. It has great suction. Long cord. Quiet. Looks very high quality and durable. Hose is strong,durable. Doesn`t clog. Pet hair- thick rugs-,short rugs no problem. You have to dump it more often because it`s got great suction and a bit small. No beater bar doesn`t seem to be a problem

I love my vacuum. Its easy to handle. I can use it any where. It picks up practically everything. It cleans really great. No bags!!! I just love it!

I have 2 dogs, (aka hair monsters) and burn wood in the winter - I have lots of continual *krispies* finding their way to my floors. This little vacuum is well worth the purchase. It's light weight, and easily maneuvered around my home. Pros - The head has a nice swivel feature that I didn't expect. I have a lot of tile, and I can get all floors (kitchen/dining area, back porch, and 2 bathrooms) cleaned up in nothing flat with no back stress. The cannister follows along like a compliant little dog. The suction is adequate for light/moderate use (which is what I bought it for - it's not going to suck up marbles). Hose - nice length. Ease of use... very good. Cord retraction -adequate strength. Cons - the handle occasionally pops off the telescoping wand. Why didn't someone put a stop lock on that? That's the only design FLAW that I question. All in all this is a great little vacuum for light needs. I purchased it on a 50% off sale and it was well worth the money.

I bought this vacuum because it was on clearance and we needed one at our new house before the movers arrived. If I'd read the description on the box more carefully I would've seen that this vacuum doesn't have a beater head. It does a good job on hardwoods and is lightweight, but it's definitely not for thick carpeting.
