Love it! Great Value! September 13, 2008
I've owned this vac for over 5 years and I absolutely love it! I've used it to professionally clean offices and homes, as well as in my own home with a very hair-shedding beagle. The attachments are great! I've recommended it to several and know 3 people that have purchased it on my recommendation and they love it too!

Dead after 2 years June 25, 2008
I liked my Kenmore for about a year. After that time, something shorted out & when I plugged the machine in, the vacuum turned on - even if the switch said "OFF". Not a big deal I thought, same thing happened to my parents & theirs reset itself. Then last night, I go to vacuum my carpets & the motor burned out! It's still getting power b/c the carpet attachment still turns on but the vacuum itself is dead. Highly disappointed & not buying another Kenmore vacuum again.

I have had this vacuum for 3 years!! It is great! Never has given me a problem. Its picks up excellent! Mine was even a floor model from a local sears. I would recommend this to everyone!!!!!!

I live in the country and let me tell you that when the farmer's plow and your windows are open you need a great vacumm! I have cleaned homes for over 15 years and many clients had Kenmore canisters. We were literally going thru vacuums at our house every year - and sometimes more often! So when our last one died 3 months ago after only 7 months of usage we decided to splurge and get a good vacuum! We have 3 cats and 2 dogs and lots of pet hair and dirt! This vacuum is great and handles everything we throw at it. We bought the warranty - just in case which provides a service check up every year and 5 years of piece of mind incase we have problems. But, we think we have found the best vacuum around! In fact since we bought it my teenager loves to sweep with it and I hardly ever have to use it!

This vaccum is great. I have two dogs and cat and this thing gets up all the hair. With black dogs and a gray carpet I don't see any hair after I'm done. And its great for my hardwood floors. I love the suction on the x-lo setting, it will pick up anything! I would reccommend this to anyone. The only thing it does that is weird is the carpet part doesn't stand up on carpeting. But its not that much trouble to just lay it down!
